enclosed in Your Lordship's despatch No.101 of the 26th of July last, has resigned her appointment.
It is
very desirable
that the vacancy
thus caused in the Nursing
Staff should be filled with the least possible delay, and I shall be obliged if Your Lordship will instruct
the
Crown Agents to select
a Candidate.

It is earnestly desired by the Medical staff at the Government Civil Hospital that the new Nurse should be obtained from the Training School at the London Hospital, and Dr. Ayres suggests that the Crown Agents should apply to Miss Luckes, the Matron
of that Hospital, to recommend a candidate.
